The 6-day field course to Sicily and the Aeolian Islands is a field trip to climb Europe’s active volcanoes Vulcano, Stromboli and Aetna. This trip is intended for BSc-students with a major Energy- & Mineral Resources. Its goal is a fundamental understanding of volcanisms and associated plate tectonics, and a general understanding of the geological of the alpine event in Europe and Northern Africa.
